Last August 27, 2015, FORGE staff took time to till and prepare the lot for FORGE backyard garden. We planted seeds/seedlings of Okra, Ampalaya, Tomato, Sili, Lemonsito, Batong, etc. It is our simple contribution in taking care for our environment and a concrete action in advocating food security and climate change.
October 19, 2015, (after 53 days from land preparation and planting, we’re able to harvest and cook the fruit of our labor – Okra, Alugbati, Kamunggay. We are excited to harvest our Ampalaya…then our Batong…Tamatis. We also planted Cranberries, Pandan, Sangig, Nangka.
