Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 1-year experience in CDF
• Registered Social Worker
• Good communication skills
• Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

Job Description:

Task and Functions

ENGAGEMENT WITH THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS

• Establishes and strengthens partnership with LGUs (courtesy calls, project orientation, partnership meetings)
• Regularly sit-in BCPC meetings
• Push for the formulation and implementation of the BCPC Plan( Barangay Council for the Protection of Children)
• Push for the enforcement of child-related laws within the local level (partner barangay, City, Province) specifically on RA 7610, UNCRC, Anti-child pornography, and trafficking law
• Push for the formulation of a reporting mechanism or reporting flow in responding to cases of child abuse and exploitation
• Gather updated data from the activity center and use it as the basis for recommending programs, services, and activities in the BCPC to ensure that the issue of child abuse and exploitation is being responded by the barangay

 

CAPABILITY BUILDING AND CASE MANAGEMENT

• Drafts general design of the capability building/training programs
• Coordinate with the development of training modules and materials
